Role
Funstop is looking for an ingenious game designer to be a part of a dedicated team of talented professionals passionate about creating the next big hit!
The Game Designer will be in charge of a full loop of creating experiences from idea to implementation to analyzing gameplay data after launch.
Our ideal candidate is a designer able to gather ideas from users and teams, convert them into strong concepts to guide the development while implementing gameplay progression and balance.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, document, and implement new features and content;
- Iterate on current features based on data and user feedback;
- Design and balance game progression, economy, and monetization;
- Collaborate with the Team Leads to plan feature roadmaps;
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the game dev industry;
- Knowledge of the mobile games market, trending genres, and success metrics;
- Ability to deconstruct games and identify their strengths and weaknesses;
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset;
- Design thinking and a user-centric approach to game development;
- Ability to receive and offer constructive feedback to improve on;
- Experience with scripting languages or a basic understanding;
- Portfolio of released games as a game designer;
